In this class I want to be able to master many skills involving technology to help improve my range of expertise with a computer. I want to be able to master Canva in order to create study guides for my future classes. I hope to engage in thoroughly looking through a variety of strategies of mastering concepts in order to in turn use them myself as I prepare for studying for law school. I also hope to learn about other useful concepts such as creating a website. I plan on starting a clothing brand soon and I believe being able to establish an online prescreen through a website or even Pinterest or twitter threads will be of large aid.
My prior experiences using technology for educational purposes are quite broad but never have I used them in the realm of education. In high school I took many computer classes. I was involved in computer science and computer literacy, mastering elements of word, PowerPoint, spreadsheets, and one drive. I also took classes on computer hardware and the different parts of a physical laptop and desktop. My senior year I also took a coding class, indulging in making basic 2d games with codes like python.
My PLN is very broad, and I believe that taking lessons from different faceted of life is the key to becoming successful. I love to learn about literature and the art of fiction novel writing. I also love animal anatomy, law, and politics. I am also a huge sports fan with Futbol and Basketball as well as hockey, playing two of three as a varsity athlete. As far as my hobbies I love to read, play basketball, travel, collect shoes, and study animals. Things I use for my everyday activates include Canvas, Word, Redditt, National geographic, Espn, and FSU law.
I love how you think of PLNs and how to expand them, I believe this is a very beneficial way of thinking about them. I have the same goals with this class and I think it is really cool that you want to start a clothing brand.
ReplyDeleteThats pretty cool that you want to start your own clothing brand and having a good sense of how to use technology can really help when starting a company online like that. I also like to read and is something that I always try to do with my free time as I feel more productive when doing it rather than just sitting on my phone.

I really liked how you mentioned that you want to learn how to use different digital platforms and master those skills. I think that is a great mindset to have when learning new things.
