Blog Journal #6

My experience with blogging has actually been really good so far. I Like almost every aspect of it. It's easy to use, easy to get your thoughts down quickly, and effectively connects you to a broader community where you get to share notes, thoughts, and ideas. I have learned that I have many more resources at my fingertips then I have realized and that I should use technology in a more useful manner.

With the AI I gave very specific lessons plans as to what I wanted it to come up with. Generally, I have found that if you give the AI a more focused task rather then something that is broader than it comes up with what you want in a much more efficient way. I would use the AI the same way I did before as it worked great and was quite efficient in coming up with a lesson plan. It's almost scary how fast it comes up with these complex ideas so quickly.

I would only use AI to generate ideas about lesson plans. From there I would use these ideas to execute my own plans and procedures for the classroom. I would never use it to generate homework, tests, or the raw material itself but only the best ways I can spread my material to the students. Teaching needs to continue to be authentic. You cannot disapprove of students using AI and then turn around and use it yourself.
