 My distant learning experiences in my K-12 education happened mostly during covid. I used canvas for submitting my assignments and communication with students and teachers. I used to zoom to attend class every day. In terms of technologies, I have had a computer to do my assignments and learning at home. Something that i never experienced was getting a school IPAD. kids in my area enrolled in other schools had the opportunity to rent their own tablets for a year which is something I never had the opportunity.

Open education resources are resources that are meant for teaching, studying and practicing material. They can be anything such as websites, media, or computer programs that are free to use. One that is extremely popular is Khan academy. It is a OER that is used for all sorts of math, science, and English study. The system is free to use with tutorial videos and practice questions and help with any kind of standardized testing. https://www.khanacademy.org/

One of the new skills I acquired from assignment four was making a PowerPoint presentation with an audio recording. I have never used the platform to converse an audio presentation. I also learned how to craft a PowerPoint that works as teaching a lesson. The assignment was extremely useful and now i have added audio recorded presentations to my project itinerary.
